Anthropologists have discovered a primitive belief system peculiar to the Irish public service.
“It is most unusual, they seem to have a blind faith in historical things that no longer exist,” an anthropologist explained.
“Despite all evidence to the contrary they cling on to these beliefs which they call entitlements,” he added.
Public servants apparently take time off work to worship their entitlements.
