Drug dealers relieved as community protests against head shops

Thursday, February 18, 2010

Hard drug dealers, the vulnerable victims of the head shop revolution, finally received support from the wider community, as hundreds of people took to the streets of Castlebar calling for head shops to be closed.

“At last we have help,” a heroin dealer and uncharged killer of three former colleagues said. “Headshops have been stealing our business and destroying our livelihoods.”

“Headshops have an unfair advantage. They shouldn’t be allowed to be legal and pay tax and that. It’s not right,” another drug dealer said.

“Thank god ordinary people are supporting us,” he added. “Otherwise we’d have to shoot people instead of just burning down their businesses.”
