Gardai from stations around the country have confirmed to The Mire that no missing persons report has been filed on Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny and nobody is looking for him.
So far in 2010 there have been no confirmed sightings of Mr Kenny, also known as the Taoiseach in waiting, but the garda press office stressed that no one was concerned about that.
“We haven’t had any calls from loved ones, friends or supporters. We haven’t even had any prank calls,” a spokesman said.
“Remember, he is the sort of fella you wouldn’t notice if he was standing in front of you,” the spokesman added. “Are you sure he’s not standing in front of you?”
Please vote for The Mire as Best Humour and Best Newcomer in the 2010 Irish Blog Awards.

No. I am not voting in any damn awards, but I will laugh heartily at your posts if that’s any use.
That will do nicely. Did you get any response from KFM radio?
No reply from KFM. That would be admitting they were wrong. The MSM are a species in denial.
