The two former Guantanamo Bay inmates who resettled here recently have decided to emigrate as they can no longer stand to witness the suffering of citizens in this country, The Mire has learned.
It is understood that they are particularly horrified that people are being subjected to living within their means. “Where is Amnesty? Where is the outcry?” they asked.
“Pay cuts, taxes, how do they expect people to live?”
They also said that many people in the country’s cities were forced to wear a uniform: “What is it with the tracksuits – why do they make so many fat people wear tracksuits? This is cruel and wrong.”
