The obesity epidemic is causing couples having sex to suffer a variety of bizarre injuries according to GPs and A&E departments across the country.
No statistics are available but a GP source said that fat people run the risk of appalling injury when they attempt to have sex. “One of my patients needed 80 stitches after he was anally impaled on a light fitting in his bedroom ceiling,” a GP said.
“He said that having sex with his wife, who is also obese, was like water beds colliding. Strangely beautiful but anything could happen.”
“Sadly,” the GP continued, “the couple in question have had to give up having sex. This is particularly worrying as it was the only form of exercise they got.”
