Over half the contestants in Celebrity Big Brother are probably not biodegradable, according to a source in one of the country’s top funeral homes.
The source said the huge increase in celebrities opting for plastic surgery was mirrored among the wider public. “What we are seeing on Celebrity Big Brother is pretty representative of the average corpse these days,” the source said.
“You could dig them up in a decade and they’d look much the same as the day you buried them.”
“Typically, we are seeing the results of a lot of plastic surgery, constant medication and preservatives in the daily diet,” he added. “Burial is no longer an answer and most crematoriums don’t burn hot enough.”
The source called on the Government to allow work on the Poolbeg incinerator to proceed. “A full scale commercial incinerator is probably the only thing that will prevent a backlog of non-biodegradable bodies,” he said.
