The Mire has written to customers of the Central Bank recommending they cease doing business with it and consider contacting the Garda.
A spokesman for The Mire said it was concerned about the Central Bank’s ability to manage financial matters.
Coincidentally, the Central Bank has written to customers of a debt-management company recommending they suspend all payments to it and “consider contacting the Garda”.
“How bizarre,” a spokesman for The Mire said.
